One of our local news stations reported today that a man and his wife... Bert and Teresa Sherman who have chucked it all and left on a year-long trip with a Ford PU and a 19' travel trailer.  These folks apparently plan to be gone about a year and left with no TV or laptops.  They both want to see Alaska very much.  They plan to be back in a year, with a stop through Kansas City in the fall.

I found the story refreshing as I'd love to travel just like they are going to do.  I will be able to do that some day.
