Bevier, Missouri - The Little Coal Mining Town that has written many pages of colorful history was laid out in 1858. It was an accidental pick stroke that made Bevier the Greatest Coal Camp in the Midwest.
Now home to The Pear Tree, a fine dining restaurant with no less than excellent food and service. Reservations are highly recommended! The restaurant was packed when we were there Saturday evening.
