The Triangle...

How often have you sat down at a table in a restaurant and they had one of those little triangle games that you see with 15 holes in them and 14 pegs (usually something like a golf tee)?  The goal of course is to jump pegs, removing them to the point that you only have one peg left.  They usually rate you according to how may pegs you have left in the game as to how 'in the know' you are.  Please correct me with the right answer but from what I can see there is a solution but only if you start with the empty hole being in the corner.  If it is not in the corner I cannot see that there is a solution that will leave 1 peg left.

Pegs in every hole but hole number 1.

Move 6 to 1 remove 3
Move 4 to 6 remove 5
Move 1 to 4 remove 2
Move 7 to 2 remove 4
Move 10 to 3 remove 6
Move 13 to 6 remove 9
Move 6 to 1 remove 3
Move 1 to 4 remove 2
Move 15 to 13 remove 14
Move 12 to 14 remove 13
Move 4 to 13 remove 8
Move 14 to 12 remove 13
Move 11 to 13 remove 12
Peg should be left in hole 13 at this time.

Let me know if you have another solution!  With the missing peg starting in Hole 5 for instance, I haven't seen a solution.  There may be one... but not that I know of yet. <grin>
